Ha Noi – Ha Long – Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An – Sai Gon – Tay Ninh – Cu Chi

Day 1 : Arrival Hanoi (D)

Upon arrival at Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport a Vietnam Hidden Charm guide will greet you and transfer by private car through the city to your hotel. Check-in and take the relax. In the late afternoon, enjoy the Water Puppet Show, the unique Vietnamese traditional art. This art originates from rural festivals in Vietnam. The artists-men and women-stand waist-deep in the water to manipulate the puppets, making them move about, talk and laugh and even dance on the surface of the water, followed to have dinner at local restaurant. OVERNIGHT IN HANOI

Day 2 : Hanoi City Tour (B,L)

Today we enjoy a full day city tour starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex. This famous site contains the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh (Close on Monday, Friday & November), the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Close to this complex is the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of city. We follow this with the Temple of Literature, which is well known as the first university of Vietnam. Have lunch at the local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the impressive Ethnologic Museum, dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups several of which we will see on our forthcoming trek. Then we take a cyclo tour around the Old Quarter of Hanoi. OVERNIGHT IN HANOI

Day 3 : Hanoi – Halong Junk Cruise (B,L,D)

After breakfast we drive to Halong Bay. We take on board our traditional wooden junk to discover this spectacular site. We visit numerous islands and lime-stones rising from the emerald water. Fresh seafood lunches and dinners are prepared by our cooks and served on board. It is also an ideal opportunity to enjoy the sea, mixing yourself with the the beauty of the nature. OVERNIGHT ON BOAT

Day 4 : Halong Junk Cruise – Flight to Hue (B)

Rising to the tranquil beauty of the bay we have time for an early morning dip with joys and emotions for watching sunrise on sea followed by breakfast. This morning we continue to move around the bay to find more secluded areas. The junk will be near us at all times serving as a back up vessel for those that require it. Around noon, about 11h30, return to the port where we disembark and drive back to Hanoi . Transfer direct to Hanoi airport for the flight to the ancient capital of Hue in the evening. Check in at the hotel. OVERNIGHT IN HUE

Day 5 : Hue – Danang – Hoian (B,L)

Morning we then start our city tour to visit Citadel and Imperial Purple city, imposing Thien Mu pagoda and board the trip from here for a cruise on Perfume river, visit Honchen temple. We then disembark the board for a visit to Tuduc royal tomb. Afternoon we bid Hue farewell; we continue our south bound journey. Today’s destination is the old trading town of Hoi An. Along the way though we will stop at Lang Co beach for coffee and refreshments. From here we head up to the Hai Van pass, stopping at the top to take in the stunning views north over Lang Co beach and south over Danang city. Continuing on our way down the other side and into Da nang, where we will stop at the Cham Museum, the famed China Beach, and the Marble Mountains. Arriving in Hoian check in hotel. Diner on your own. OVERNIGHT IN HOIAN

Day 6 : Hoian – Danang – Flight to Ho Chi Minh City (B,L)

Morning after breakfast transfer to airport for the flight to HCM city. Afternoon we pass the now-demolished wartime American Embassy before we visit the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office. After seeing the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum, we continue our trip on to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale. OVERNIGHT IN HO CHI MINH CITY.

Day 7 : Ho Chi Minh City – Tay Ninh – Cu Chi Tunnel (B,L)

The head quarter of Cao Dai sect is located in Tay Ninh. This religion was founded in 1923 and now numbers over 2 million members. After breakfast we travel by roads to Tay Ninh to see the ornate temple of Cao Dai and attend the fantastic mid-day service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. Afterwards we continue to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, which were an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Vietcong in the American war. Dinner in the local restaurant. OVERNIGHT IN HO CHI MINH CITY

Day 8 : Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)

Free time until transferring to the airport for flight to the next destination. End our service
