Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi
Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon take a short sightseeing tour by cyclo to see the Lake of the Restored Sword and the Old Quarter. Enjoy water puppet show, a traditional art form unique to northern Vietnam. Overnight in Hanoi.
Hotel Check in - Check out time is usually at 12h00 am. Extended check in - check out time may be granted subject to availability and agreement by the participating hotels.

Day 2: Hanoi (B)
In the morning a city tour introduces you to the historical and cultural highlights of Hanoi. Visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum (closed on Mon & Fri), and his former residence on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature as well as Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc around West Lake. This afternoon, visit the museum of your choice: the Ethnology, Army or National Fine Arts Museum (some museums are closed on Mon & Fri). Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong (B, L)
Morning tour to But Thap Pagode, continue to Halong Bay for a 7 hours breath-taken cruise on Ha Long bay. Lunch will be served with welcoming wine on board. This is a great opportunity to take pictures of shaped islands like Dog island, Incense Burner island, Fighting Cock island and so on. You will visit Sung Sot cave, swim at Titov beach or climb up the stairs to the view tower. Transfer to Hotel. Overnight in Halong.

Day 4: Halong – Hai Phong – Ninh Binh (B)
Drive to the site of Vietnam’s first capital, Hoa Lu via Haiphong for a short city tour. Visit Du Hang Pagoda and Hang Kenh Communal House. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 5: Ninh Binh – Hanoi / Hue (B)
After visiting the two remaining sanctuaries of the ancient citadel, take a sampan on a river through the rice paddies to the grottoes of the sacred Tam Coc Caves. Enormous limestone karsts jut out from the green rice fields giving rise to this place’s other name, ‘Halong on Land’. Back to Hanoi and transfer to airport for flight to Hue. Transfer to Hotel. Overnight in Hue.

Day 6: Hue (B)
Start your day with a visit to the Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. After exploring the ruins of this wonderful monument take a cyclo through the 'Old City' to Tinh Tam Lake where the Emperors used to come to relax. This afternoon, visit the Mausoleum of Tu Duc, which was originally built as a palace retreat before becoming the Nguyen emperors' final resting place and then Khai Dinh's Tomb which boasts a traditional Vietnamese design with a European touch, making it unique from the other tombs in Hue. If time permits visit one of Hue’s many garden houses or explore the lively Dong Ba Market. Overnight in Hue.

Day 7: Hue – Danang – Hoian (B)
Leave Hue after breakfast by road for Danang via the scenic fishing village of Lang Co and the Pass of Ocean Clouds. Stop in Danang to visit the beautiful Non Nuoc Beach and the Cham Museum containing the finest collection of Cham sculpture in the world. On the road from Danang to Hoi An visit five sacred hills known as the Marble Mountains containing dozens of Buddhist shrines. On arrival in Hoi An transfer to hotel. Hoi An was a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries and its architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years. Take a walking tour of the ancient town centre to visit former merchants’ houses, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful market. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 8: Hoian (B)
A half day trip to visit the capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son. Here, 40km southwest of Hoi An, in a lush green valley, are dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries. On the way back to Hoi An stop to visit Tra Kieu, formerly known as Simhapura or the Lion Citadel, the capital of Champa between the 4th and 8th centuries. Some of the finest sculpture in Danang’s Cham Museum originated from here. On returning to Hoi An, the afternoon is free to relax perhaps browsing for souvenirs in Hoi An’s art galleries and silk shops, or maybe cycling to the nearby Cua Dai Beach. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 9: Hoian – Danang / Nha Trang (B)
Transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Nha Trang. On arrival in Nha Trang you are welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel. An afternoon city tour includes the Po Nagar Cham Towers and Long Son Pagoda with its enormous white Buddha statue. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 10: Nha Trang (B, L)
A morning boat trip on Nha Trang Bay visits some of the nearby islands where you will have the opportunity to swim and snorkel in the clear warm waters. After a fresh seafood lunch, return to shore. In the afternoon, explore Nha Trang at your own pace. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 11: Nha Trang – Dalat (B)
Continue the journey to Dalat with stop in Phan Rang to visit Po Klong Giarai Cham Towers. Arrive in Dalat and transfer to hotel. An afternoon of sightseeing in Dalat takes to the old Dalat Railway Station for a short train to Trai Mat and then vist Linh Phuoc Pagoda. Overnight in Dalat.s

Day 12: Dalat (B)
In the morning visit Lat Village and some beautiful waterfalls. An afternoon of sightseeing in Dalat takes in the art deco former summer residence of Emperor Bao Dai, Lam Ty Ni Pagoda where a Buddhist monk, Vien Thuc, produces abstract paintings and writes poetry. Visit the Central Market and walk around the Xuan Huong Lake will end the trip. Overnight in Dalat.
Day 13: Dalat – Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Drive to Ho Chi Minh City with stop at a local waterfall. En route to visit a local tea plantation and factory in Bao Loc. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Depart early for the drive to Cu Chi Tunnels to discover the underground network built by Vietnamese in the Vietnam-American War. Take an afternoon city tour to visit Presidential Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office. The final stop is Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 15: Ho Chi Minh – My Tho – Ben Tre (B, D)
After breakfast drive to Mekong Delta. Upon arrival, take a riverboat for a cruise along the riverbank of the Mekong Delta and around four Islets including Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise and Phoenix on Tien River. Through Xep canal to visit Mekong traditional houses at Quoi An village. After that have a tour by the horse-cart on village path to Ben Truc orchard, enjoy seasonal fruits and listen to traditional music. Continue for boat-rowing on water coconut creek, have lunch on an islet and visit local coconut candy workshop. Go to Phu Tuc village for home stay where you can take a bath on the river, go fishing or join cooking with locals. Evening you will have dinner with Mekong family atmosphere. Overnight in a local house.
Day 16: My Tho – Cai Be – Can Tho (B)
Drive to Cai Be and take a boat trip to visit Cai Be colorful floating market. Continue to visit some local home factories and discover traditional rice paste making, rice pop corn, coco candies and longans drying process. Proceed to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 17: Can Tho – Chau Doc (B)
Take a morning boat trip to Cai Rang floating market, filled with small boats darting through the water as vendors sell their wares. Cruise through narrow canals and stop at a fruit orchard to taste some of the succulent fruits of the Mekong Delta. Visit Binh Thuy old house and a local market before proceed to Chau Doc via Long Xuyen to visit the Thot Not bird Sanctuary. Upon arrival in Chau Doc, check in to the hotel and then set off for a trip to the top of Sam Mountain to watch the sunset over the temples and rice fields below. Overnight in Chau Doc.

Day 18: Chau Doc – Ho Chi Minh City (B)
In the morning you'll take in a local market at the confluence of three rivers, then travel by boat into the homeland of the Cham, a community who were once the rulers of an extensive coastal empire. There you'll visit their floating houses and catfish farms, and observe them as they weave their beautiful textiles. Visit Thoai Ngoc Hau Temple, and Tay An Pagoda. Depart Chau Doc to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 19: Ho Chi Minh City – Departure (B)
Free at your own leisure until transfer to airport for your departure flight.
