Business Law units are great - if you get the opportunity to enrol in one during a commerce degree (or something similar) then I would definitely recommend it. Because the topic is so broad you will end up learning about a whole range of legal issues that are relevant to businesses.
The scope of business law usually includes:
how the legal system affects businesses;
contract law, and why it’s important in business;
the roles of directors and executives who run a business;
corporations law;
taxation issues; and
probably a little bit of property and consumer law.
