Located near Cambodia, an hour flight from Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc Island is so far undiscovered by tourists. The Phu Quoc Island:
Phu Quoc, Vietnam's largest island is situated in the gulf of Thailand. This secluded paradise is 48 km in length, and from 3 to 28 km in width. The island has 1.320 kmē and about 70.000 inhabitants are living on it. The number of the local population is increasing dramatically thanks to the rapid development of tourism. Luxury hotels and resorts keep springing up everyday.
Compared to other islands, Phu Quoc has a very good infrastructure, such as an airport, several harbours, wide roads, money exchange bureaus, hospital, post-office, police-station and an exotic market.
