|
Remove fixtures and furniture from the room where possible. Carpet cleaning vacuums can be difficult to maneuver through tight spaces and around bulky furniture.
2
Place "Wet Floor" or "Caution" signs around the perimeter of the room. This step is especially important when cleaning a room with a lot of traffic or a public space.
Use a standard floor vacuum on a carpet setting to remove any surface debris from the carpet. Vacuum all areas of the carpet and use a crevice tool to remove dust from corners and along baseboards.
4
Mix dry foam carpet cleaning solution in a bucket. Each solution varies slightly based on the product's manufacturer. Follow the directions located on the solution's packaging and mix according to those specifications. Too much foam can clog the machine, so follow directions carefully.
Thanks
