Day 1 : Arrival Hanoi – Cyclotour (D)
Day 2 : Hanoi – Ha Long – Hanoi (B,L)
Day 3 : Hanoi – Hue Imperial (B,L)
Day 4 : Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An (B)
Day 5 : Hoi An – Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Day 6 : Sai Gon – Cu Chi – Sai Gon Departure (B)

Day 1 : Hanoi Arrival – City tour (D)

Upon arrival at Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport a Vietnam Hidden Charm guide will greet you and transfer by private car through the city to your hotel. You enjoy a glimpe city tour with the Ho Chi Minh Complex. This famous site contains the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh ( Close on Monday & Friday), the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Close to this complex is the One Pilar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of city. We follow this with the Temple of Literature “the first university in Vietnam”. Then, A cyclo tour (1 hour) allows you to visit througt Hanoi’s Old Quarter. OVERNIGHT IN HANOI

Sung Sot cave

Day 2 : Hanoi – Ha Long – Hanoi (B,L)

After breakfast, drive to Halong, 180 km east of Hanoi. On arrival take a wooden boat and have seafood lunch on board. Discover Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea” as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. A 5-hour boat trip will visit to Sung Sot cave – Surprise cave. Return Hanoi in late afternoon. OVERNIGHT IN HANOI

Day 3 : Hanoi – Hue (B,L)

Early flight to Hue. Hue was once Vietnam’s feudal capital from 1802 to 1945. This small and quiet city is widely known for magnificent architecture, pagodas and royal tombs. Upon arrival Hue, we will visit Hue’s famous highlights, including the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City. Afternoon we then take boat cruise on the Perfum River to the surrounding countryside to visit Thiem Mu, or Heavenly Lady Pagoda. One of the most poignant displays here is a car belonging to a former monk, who in 1963, drove to Saigon and set himself alight to protest against the South Vietnamese regime and its treatment of Buddhists. Also worth visiting are the tombs of the former Emperors, in particular that of Emperor Tu Duc. OVERNIGHT IN HUE

Day 4 : Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An (B)

As we bid Hue farewell this morning we continue our south bound journey, this time in the comfort of an air-conditioned bus. Today’s destination is the old trading town of Hoi An. Along the way though we will stop at Lang Co beach for coffee and refreshments. From here we head up to the Hai Van pass, stopping at the top to take in the stunning views north over Lang Co beach and south over Danang city. Arrival in Hoi An, we start tour around town with ancient merchants’ houses, a Phuc Kien temple, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, and the colourful riverside market, workshop where artisans make Hoi An’s famous lanterns. OVERNIGHT IN HOI AN

Sai Gon City

Day 5 : Hoi An – Da Nang – Sai Gon (B)

Morning transfer to the airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh, you are picked up and transferred to the hotel in the city centre. In the afternoon, the first place visiting is the Reunification Palace. Among this number, nearly 1 million were foreign visitors, including American tourists, then continuing to visit General Post Offlice and Notre Dame Cathedral. Then we continue our trip on to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale. OVERNIGHT IN HO CHI MINH CITY

Day 6 : Sai Gon – Cu Chi – Sai Gon Departure (B)

In the morning, we will visit Cu Chi Tunnel at 01:30 p.m. The tunnel system, built over 25 years starting in the 1940s. It was an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers. In places, it was several stories deep and housed up to 10,000 people who virtually lived underground for years…. getting married, giving birth, and going to school. Since 1988, two sections of tunnels have been open for visitors. Return Ho Chi Minh City for your international flight to next destination. End Vietnam Hidden Charm’s service
